Biomedical education tailored to your profession
Are you in a profession where an enhanced understanding of some topic in the biomedical might lead to a higher salary, more job security, a promotion, or better job satisfaction? Perhaps it can just help you do a better job. CBET self-development courses might be just what you need. We can organize workshops, seminars or short courses for any professional group whose work intersects with the biosciences. This might include:
- Lawyers or paralegals dealing with medical issues
- Emergency first responders wanting to know more about agents of bioterrorism
- Insurance claims adjusters seeing value in learning basic anatomy and pathology (See Close-up: Insurance Claims Adjusters Study Human Anatomy.)
- Lawmakers seeking to make informed public policy-decisions about healthcare issues
- Journalists wishing to learn more about medicine and medical terminology
- Pharmaceutical sales representative who need a better understanding of human health and disease
- Anyone who could do his or her job better with more basic-science education
How it works
CBET’s faculty will create non-credit courses, workshops or seminars customized to the specific needs of participants. These are not “one size fits all” courses designed without your input or that force you to guess whether the content will be valuable to you. Because each course is unique to your needs, the cost will depend on the length of the program and the number of enrollees.
Initiating a course
If you are:
