Our areas of expertise include:
- Medical imaging/ultrasound/echocardiography
- Human anatomy and biomechanics
- Medical informatics
- Radiation safety and nuclear medicine
- Athletic/fitness assessment
- Periodic physical assessment
CBET capabilities
An occupational therapist takes a continuing education course on human anatomy and common joint injuries. A radiographer enhances career options with ultrasound or echocardiography certification. A doctor takes a seminar on new surgical techniques and practices the technique on human cadaver tissue. Injury attorneys learn more about common injuries to the musculoskeletal system. Professional or amateur athletes acquire scientifically sound performance data to train smarter and better.
Provided by RIT faculty and outside consultants, CBET services include:
- Workshops and seminars: customized to individual or organizational needs.
- Certificate programs: in ultrasound and echocardiography and exercise science.
- Continuing education: credits for medical practitioners, attorneys, educators, fitness trainers, radiation safety officers or others whose jobs require periodic upgrades in their knowledge or skills in the profession.
- Professional self-development: for anyone who would benefit from knowing more about medicine and the human body’s reaction to nutrition, exercise, disease and medical treatment.
