CBET is dedicated to awakening K-12 students to the exciting possibilities of careers in science and medicine. Leveraging RIT’s faculty expertise and the high-tech facilities contained within the new laboratories of the Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Center for Bioscience Exploration and Discovery, CBET brings advanced services to two key segments of the K-12 community:

• Educators:

  CBET partners with teachers both to bring new classroom experiences to students and to aid in the teacher’s own professional development.

• Students:

  Hands-on activities during the academic year and summer breaks give students real-world experience in biotechnology and medical diagnostics.
