July 21 to July 25
Camp Description
Students who are thinking they might be interested in a career in a medical field will really enjoy this one-week comprehensive exploration of the medical and allied health professions. They will experience a real human anatomy lab where they will dissect and examine human organs that are both normal and diseased. Students will also become CPR certified, and also learn how to conduct many of the basic diagnostic and medical lab techniques. They will meet practitioners and discuss careers in medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physician assistant, ultrasound and others.
This exciting program will be offered twice in 2008.
